Shimla, was the Summer capital  of  India under British rule . Presently, it is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh

Shimla's cool feeling still remain the biggest magnet for Indian tourists

Shimla's cool climate is the  reason why it is such a popular summer land. Located at an altitude of approximately 2200m above sea level, the region has a hilly terrain and is covered by dense evergreen forests

The place is also famous for its natural beauty, architectural buildings, wooden crafts and apples .

The mountain train is from Kalka to Shimla. This railway track has recently been granted the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The view is stunning, with the line passing through an amazing 103 tunnels.
